(EMAILWIRE.COM, January 12, 2009 ) Taipei, Taiwan — CyberLink Corporation (5203.TW), and Elo TouchSystems, a Tyco Electronics business, announced today that they are working closely to develop touch-optimized solutions. The engineering teams from both companies are collaborating closely, sharing both hardware and software, in order to accelerate development and testing. Both companies recognize that multi-touch solutions require tight matching of the software to the design and capabilities of the hardware. To ensure a great overall user experience, CyberLink and Elo have established this close working relationship.
Demonstrations of the latest development versions of theses complete hardware and software solutions are being shown at the 2009 CES show to interested members of the press, and to PC and display manufacturers, by appointment in CyberLinkÂ’s suite at the Hilton Hotel.
