(EMAILWIRE.COM, February 02, 2010 ) SAN DIEGO, February 2, 2010 – The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the technology services industry’s largest and most vibrant association, announced an innovative new session on the Technology Services World 2010 (TSW 2010) Silicon Valley agenda—Service Revolutions.
Taking place on May 5, the final day of TSW 2010, Service Revolutions will feature a series of on-stage demonstrations designed to showcase the latest innovations in technology services—from cutting-edge services new to the market, to start-ups with innovative service models, to the to the newest advances in service technology, to the latest breakthroughs from the emerging world of service science.
Anyone may apply to present at Service Revolutions. The Call for Applications is in effect through March 26, 2010, with finalists being announced no later than April 1. TSIA will select 20 applicants from the entries, who will be asked to demonstrate their idea live at TSW 2010. A high-profile TSIA Expert Panel, to be announced shortly, will be onstage with the presenting organization to pose questions and engage in a brief discussion of the merits of their ideas.
Presentations will be rated on a “Cool Scale” by audience members using audience response system technology. Winners will be announced at the TSW 2010 Awards Luncheon immediately following the program. Entrance to Service Revolutions will be included in TSW 2010 registration packages. In addition, complimentary half-day press passes will be issued for media, industry analysts, academics, and investors.
