(EMAILWIRE.COM, October 04, 2011 ) SAN DIEGO, CA -- The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association for todayÂ’s technology services organizations, announced that former HP and Sage Software executive Julia Stegman has joined the TSIA team. She will serve as a vice president of research and will lead TSIAÂ’s efforts in industry benchmarking, research, and thought leadership in the area of Service Revenue Generation.
Stegman has 27 yearsÂ’ experience in the high-tech industry, having held services sales and general management roles throughout her career. She has driven profitable revenue growth for the services businesses of Hewlett-Packard and Sage Software. Her services sales experience spans across hardware and software, enterprise and SMB customers, and North American as well as global markets.
“TSIA is convinced that the service organizations within product companies will need to take a leadership role in driving account revenue growth for their companies,” said Thomas Lah, executive director of TSIA. “Julia’s expertise and research will help TSIA members excel at this new responsibility.”
Stegman’s responsibilities will include driving the TSIA research agenda related to the growth of maintenance, SaaS, and managed services revenue. “This is an exciting time of transformation in the technology industry, and service revenue is playing a prominent role.
