 (EMAILWIRE.COM, December 14, 2011 ) Paris, FRANCE – Paris-Museums.org is excited to announce the release of Version 2.1 of their popular iPhone app for cultural visitors to the city of light, Paris M&M. Now with a larger directory of must-see sights, the practical app is more appealing than ever.
Paris M&M still is the only app available to visitors to the art mecca which shows a complete listing of current exhibitions in the city. It also offers listings of hundreds of museums and monuments. Now with a larger directory, the culturally-inclined are sure not to miss the most popular attractions, as as well as the many hidden gems in the city on the Seine.
“After implementing offline maps to the app, we still haven’t stopped tweaking it to make it the most useful app any visitor or local could own,” says Andrew Minh, Director of Operations of Paris Museums. “This includes expanding our database to make it as complete as possible.”
The complete directory of sites and exhibitions is viewable on the app’s offline map, as well as the app’s useful “search by nearest” feature, which shows the user which Paris Museum, monument or exhibition is nearest. Like the map, this feature works offline using the iPhone’s native GPS, at no roaming cost to the user.
With the launch of Version 2.1 Paris M&M, paris-museums.org looks forward to continue providing visitors and locals with a convenient and elegant way to plan their art-bound itineraries with what some are describing as the best Paris iPhone app.
