Axxess provided sponsorship for the Legislative Day event for the Home Care Association of Florida on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Axxess also sponsored the pre-event dinner held on January 31st, the Tuesday evening prior to the all day Wednesday event, held at the capitol. The pre-event dinner was especially informative and interesting. Attendees were able to obtain specific information regarding the key policy initiatives and pending bills being discussed by the state assembly in Tallahassee, as well as obtain valuable knowledge regarding Agencycore, the leading home health software platform in the USA. Several agencies at the event expressed interest in viewing the Agencycore platform at an opportune time. Axxess representatives joined the Legislative Day group at lunch in downtown Tallahassee, and were there in support and to hear their debriefings regarding the contacts that had been made during the morningÂ’s contacts at the Capitol.
Axxess strongly supports the active involvement of its clients and their members of state home health associations in legislative events. HCAF members came to Tallahassee to advocate for what they believe is important, i.e. legislation that is favorable to the home health industry in Florida. “We are thankful to Axxess for all of the recent support and sponsorship of the Legislative Day event. CAHSAH (California Association for Health Services in the Home) leads the home care industry in the Golden State in advocating for home-health-industry-favorable-legislation and provided excellent advocacy based summaries for the attendees of both events.
