(I-SoftwareNews.Com, July 03, 2012 ) SAN DIEGO, CA -- The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association for today’s technology services organizations, announced that former IBM executive Ken O’Reilly has joined the TSIA team. He will serve as a vice president of research and will lead TSIA’s efforts in industry benchmarking, research, and thought leadership in the areas of field services and support services.
O’Reilly has been involved in the technology support industry for more than 20 years. Prior to joining TSIA, he served with IBM as a worldwide customer support executive for the security division. Previous to IBM, he served in the same capacity for Internet Security Systems (ISS). He also was previously a global customer support executive at JDA, vice president of engineering and worldwide customer support at Novient, an engineering and global customer support executive at Indus International, and worldwide customer support executive with Dunn & Bradstreet Software.
“Ken’s specialty lies in customer support and engineering organization turnarounds, start-ups, and acquisitions,” said Thomas Lah, executive director of TSIA. “His focus on increasing support revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiencies for worldwide support operations over the last 20 years gives him keen insight into the support services space.
