(EMAILWIRE.COM, March 25, 2008 ) Leading Technology Services Publication Dramatically Expands Scope and Readership
SAN DIEGO, March 19, 2008 - The Association for Services Management International (AFSMI), the Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA), the Technology Professional Services Association (TPSA), and the Service Research & Innovation Initiative (SRII) announced that Sbusiness, the journal for services management, has been expanded to include research and information from all four associations. Sbusiness, the premier publication for the technology services industry, is published quarterly and will now be distributed to members of all four associations around the world. Sbusiness has been in publication since 2001 and was previously distributed to AFSMI members only.
“The Sbusiness journal is the only publication of its kind in the world,” stated John Schoenewald, publisher and executive director of AFSMI. “It is a great resource for industry trends, best practices, and leading research. The publication covers a wide range of services, including customer relationship management, customer service, field service operations, human resources, management development, professional services, support center practices, outsourcing, sales and marketing, and services finance. Many of the articles feature key interviews and case studies with leading technology companies. Now that Sbusiness combines the best of AFSMI, SSPA, TPSA, and SRII, it will meet the growing needs of the diverse services community.”
AFSMI, SSPA, TPSA, and SRII comprise a global network of associations that address the needs of the technology services industry. The expanded, multi-association version of the magazine debuts in March with the Spring 2008 edition and also will be available to attendees of the Technology Services Europe conference, April 2-4 in Paris, France; the SSPA Best Practices Conference, May 4-6 in Santa Clara, CA; and the Spring 2008 TPSA Summit, also in Santa Clara, May 4-6.
