The Kindle Fire HD (HD stands for high definition) comes in two different sizes. One has the same screen size as its predecessor, at 7 inches. The other, has a larger screen size at 8.9 inches. The latter directly competes with Apple's iPad which is 9.7 inches in diagonal.

The new Kindle tablet has an HD display, front HD camera, external volume controls, 3G/4G connectivity (on the 8.9" version), up to 32GB of internal storage, Bluetooth connectivity, longer lasting battery, faster processor and RAM etc. etc.
The complaints from customers this time around seems to be much less, however there are a few.
