(I-SoftwareNews.Com, March 13, 2013 ) SAN DIEGO, CA, March 13, 2013 – The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association for today’s technology services organizations, held its Technology Services Europe (TSE) 2013 conference March 12-13 in Munich, Germany. TSE 2013 revealed current trends, challenges, and opportunities in the European marketplace—issues such as consumption economics, service revenue generation, sales and marketing practices, organizational planning in the age of the cloud and XaaS, and using software and partner ecosystems to lower costs and improve efficiencies.
Each year, leading European technology organizations look to TSE to provide professional development for their prevailing managers and leaders, while others see it as an opportunity for their senior executives to gain key industry insights on strategy development. TSE 2013 gave European services professionals the opportunity to learn, engage, and share solutions and best practices with their peers. TSE keynotes are a much-anticipated portion of the conference program. TSIA executive director Thomas Lah opened up the conference with a powerful keynote on consumption economics, discussing the trends happening today that have significant implications for every service line within a product company. Julia Stegman, TSIA vice president of service revenue generation research, then delivered an impactful keynote addressing the best practices for optimizing recurring service revenues.
Siemens AG keynote presenters Volker Ganz and Frank Debus revealed Siemens’ pioneering vision and strategy in the area of technology innovation and its focus on service as a key driver of growth. Attendees learned facets of the company’s innovative programs and its commitment to quality and customer relationships.
Rounding out the conference, TSIA president and CEO J.B. Wood delivered a compelling keynote entitled “What Will the Cloud Mean to Your Next-Gen Service Offers?” Wood offered TSIA frameworks and real data to fully equip organizations as they head into the future of technology services.
