(I-SoftwareNews.Com, February 07, 2015 ) Lake Worth, Florida – Twitter Inc. and Google Inc. have come to a deal to allow Tweets to appear on Google Search Engine Result Pages. The Tweets are said to appear during the first half of the year, and will assist with Twitters slow decline.
The basic premises of the idea, according to Chief Executive Officer Dick Costolo is behind his idea of wanting “Tweets to be more accessible to non-users, and help to generate more advertising revenue for the greater audience.”
As Twitter user growth has slowed in recent times, this may be just what the social media network needed to increase user growth once more, and make investors happy with the company.
In fact, Twitter shares have rose 1.3 percent to $41.26 at close in New York when the news broke, while the stock has increased 15 percent this year. Google’s stock has increased less than one percent to $529.83. While the deal is not public yet, these two platforms are working out an arrangement.
