The peer-driven voting process for the SLMA Top 50 list began with nominations being accepted only from SLMA members. Both members and nonmembers could then vote for up to three of those nominated. The SLMA tabulated the 7,113 votes and announced the winners late in 2011.
According to Susan Campanale, VP of Marketing for the SLMA, the Top 50 were “recognized by their peers as power players in the pursuit of ROI for marketing lead generation.”
