(EMAILWIRE.COM, June 13, 2011 ) SAN DIEGO, CA -- The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association for today’s technology services organizations, has launched its 2011 benchmark survey on “PS Market Rates”—the association’s fifth annual major study to date on the subject of technology professional services (TPS) billable rates. In addition to rate data across a broad range of TPS positions and levels, delivery types, and countries, the study also includes the collection and analysis of company and TPS profile data, as well as pricing strategy and policies.
The result of the study is a rich understanding of common PS pricing practices together with an unprecedented compilation of hundreds of list and realized billable rates from actual TPS organizations. Respondent anonymity—individual and company—is maintained for all participants.
Once the data set is gathered and analyzed, organizations will have the information needed to benchmark current billable rate structures, determine where there may be room for upward movement in list rates, and assess current pricing practices against industry norms.
“Respondents will be provided a set of valuable deliverables from easily the largest, most comprehensive analysis of global PS pricing available anywhere,” said Bo Di Muccio, vice president of research and advisory services for TSIA. “Deliverables include a participants-only results webcast, a data file of the results, a participant-only copy of the presentation slide deck, a complete study report once available, and inquiry time with TSIA analysts to enable company-specific guidance and benchmarking.”
Once the study analysis is complete, only contributing participants have access to the study results, though TSIA may refer to high-level results in member webcasts, event presentation, and other TSIA research. After a quarantine period of four months, study results will be made available for purchase by non-participating TSIA member companies.
