(EMAILWIRE.COM, June 20, 2011 ) SAN DIEGO, CA -- The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA)—the leading association for today’s technology services organizations—has concluded the first phase of its first annual Education Services Global Pricing Survey. Conducted over a six-week period in April and May of this year, the survey is providing an in-depth look at pricing practices, policies, and actual fees for education services offerings—for both customers and partners—in over 15 countries across the globe.
The survey was open to TSIA members and select non-members, with a webcast and full full report being issued at the end of the month revealing data and in-depth analysis by TSIA education services research staff. The survey consisted of two parts: a pricing questionnaire and a pricing spreadsheet. The spreadsheet included list and realized price points in the countries surveyed in the areas of classroom training, virtual instructor-led training, on-site training, custom content development, certification, and e-learning.
“Education services leaders have been trying to sort out the pricing equation for a long time,” said Maria Manning Chapman, TSIA’s senior research director for education services. “It’s challenging because there are many pieces that must come together in order to arrive at a price point that is equitable to both the education organization and the customer. This survey and resulting analysis will bring these pieces together, and education services leaders will have consumable data that points out the key factors that influence pricing.”
Findings will be revealed in TSIA’s June 30 webcast titled “The Education Services Global Pricing Puzzle: Putting the Pieces Together.” A detailed TSIA report will be published on the topic as well. For more information, visit www.tsia.com or contact Maria Manning-Chapman at maria.chapman@tsia.com.
